Ben Cryan achieved the unachievable. After falling from his surfboard onto a coral reef and developing a serious illness, he overcame thirty-four operations, being told he would never walk again, to defy the odds. His life is built on adventure, about challenging your ability and about never giving up, which is exactly what he did from his hospital bed. Ben has been faced adversity, and has one hell of a story to share that will inspire all who have the opportunity to hear it.

Working as the lead engineer in developing the London Olympics 2012. However the real highlight has been overcoming every type of adversity that has been thrown at me since my accident. I’m really proud of what I have achieved.
Travel, Adventure, Entrepreneurship. Basically I am passionate about life and getting the most out of it. I love to challenge my ability to find out what I am capable of achieving. We only get to live once!
Since being told I would never walk again and I may have lost all my memory, I am back working as the lead highway engineer on an $850M job. BUT best of all I’m back surfing and loving life!
